Footballers and Netballers are put into groups generally consisting of a mix of A grade and B grade players. Each group is then auctioned. The successful bidder then has that group of players for the season and earns returns when those players place in the best.

Calcutta awards in football are independently picked by 4 player cards being filled in by game onlookers (not from the coaching panel) and results are then averaged to find top 3 best players known as Calcutta players.

Calcutta awards in netball are awarded to the best player on the court for that grade. The award is picked by an independent individual, generally the opposition umpire and not from the coaching panel.

Hosted by the one and only Quiz Master Deb Mackey (expect equal parts brilliance and chaos), this night promises big laughs, questionable answers, and just enough competition to test even the most confident know-it-alls. Whether you’re in it to win it or just there for the drinks and banter, it’s guaranteed to be a super night.
